(a) We believe in one God, creator of all things, who is infinitely perfect and eternally subsisting in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(b) We believe that Jesus Christ is truly and fully God and truly and fully man, the Son of God, begotten, not made, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross for our sins according to the Scriptures; he arose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven, and he will come again to judge the living and the dead.
(c) We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify God, convict humankind of sin, regenerate believers, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the people of God, individually and corporately.
(d) We believe that humankind was created in the image of God but that humankind fell into sin. We believe that because of humankind’s sin all have become separated from God, and that only through the saving work of Jesus Christ by regeneration of the Holy Spirit can reconciliation to God and eternal life be found.
(e) We believe that the perfect, sinless life of Jesus Christ, his death, and his resurrection provide the only ground for the salvation of humankind, and that only those who trust in Jesus Christ are regenerated of the Holy Spirit to become the children of God.
(f) We believe that the Church is comprised of all persons who through faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
(g) We believe that baptism is a mandated obedience, which indicates death to sin and resurrection to a new life.
(h) We believe that the Lord’s Supper (“Eucharist,” or, “Holy Communion”) is a sacred service that only Christians should share, which sets forth the death and return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
(i) We believe that the canonical Christian Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, the revelation of God’s will for humankind and the rule for Christian faith and life.
(j) We believe that humankind has been created in the image of God, and that humankind’s creation in the image of God obliges all humans with spiritual, moral, ethical and social responsibility to live in accord with God’s image.
(k) We believe that the image of God has been partially described in God’s created union of male and female, and we believe that male and female union is the only domestic union in accord with God’s image.
